We all love to talk about the weather here in Ireland, and Punchestown gave us plenty to talk about! Thankfully we could put the rain,sun,hail storm and wind behind us to have a memorable and truly enjoyable week at the races. When talk turned from the weather to my paintings I knew I was on to something! The reaction once again to people finding my horses blew me away, I hope I always get such a kick out of watching people’s faces light up when they see that all is not what they thought. The importance in this for me is watching people allow themselves a moment to stop and look at something differently. All is not what it seems and the fun is to be had when you realise you can see so much more if you just give yourself a moment to let the magic happen!!
I too got totally pushed out of my comfort zone when I was interviewed for RTE. Tracy Piggott couldn’t have been nicer but something just happens to you when a camera is pointing on you!!Next time I will remember to breathe and not let the connection between my brain and mouth be severed!
